Romy Pantea, Founder and President

Romy is a dynamic businessman whose expertise spans virtually every area of the construction industry, Romy has spent 23 years managing, owning and operating a variety of construction-related businesses. As a result, his ability to oversee general construction, roofing, and electrical design, is exceptional. As a business owner, he epitomizes the entrepreneurial spirit that is the heart of Western Pride Construction. Romy founded Western Pride Construction in 2000 which has now grown to cover all areas of construction with offices, employees and field staff in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. Romy is a pilot and a graduate of Northern Illinois University.

Aimee Pantea, Controller

Aimee Pantea is an integral part of the daily workings at Western Pride Construction. Her background, insight and expertise continue to assist in operations and client management. Through her knowledge, techniques, direction and leadership Western Pride Construction has continued to grow and reach its goals each year. Aimee is a mom and enjoys being involved in the construction industry and having assisted with the growth and development in Southern Nevada over the last decade.

Joshua Valius, VP Construction

Josh began his construction career nearly 20 years ago and has continued to lead manage large team, plans and ideas in various leadership positions. Whether working in the field or home office, Josh’s expertise and construction experience continually brings repeat clients back to Western Pride Construction. Josh is a guitar enthusiast and enjoys managing the construction projects and working with various developers in both northern and southern Nevada.

Jacques Du Plessis, VP Operations

Jacques joined Western Pride Construction from South Africa where he was the founding and managing member of Microcel. Jacques will put his degree in business management, experience as a business owner and knowledge of the construction industry to use helping Western Pride develop new business opportunities and strengthen its client base. He loves to mountain bike, enjoys music and is married with two sons.
